This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Louis F. Monico who was born in United States Hoboken, NJ. on October 11, 1946 and passed away on January 11, 2008 at the age of 61. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
My dearest Louis suddenly passed away in Braddock Park, a park he loved to walk around the lake in. It was a shock...and heartbreaking moment...that we did not expect to happen so soon. He was a loving husband, devoted dad, and true, kind, and friendly man. He loved WWE wrestling, going to Broadway shows, going over to the city to see famous people....and loved walking in the woods...and enjoyed each and every day. He also was a big sports fan...loved his Yankees and Giants. He was a letter carrier for 39 years...before retireing in 2005...but worked part time as a conciegere....which he loved doing...he loved people...he was a people person and always had a smile on his face to greet the residents.
I know he is in heaven and that an angel came down that Friday the 11th of January at 12:50p.m. to guide him to heaven. I know you are happy Louis...but your passing has forever broken my heart...with never mending.
I love you Louis..... Oh! how much I love you and miss you....I have lost my better half...and yes Louis, you truly were my better half. xxxoooxxoo

Your loving Wife & Sons

Little I knew that morning God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly...in death...we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone...for part of us went with you...the day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories. Your love is still our guide...and though we cannot see you...you are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken...and nothing seems the same...but as God calls us one by one....the chain will link again.

Dear Linda, Anthony & Alfred,

Just wanted to say that I was so very sorry to hear of Lou's passing.  I feel like I'm part of the family after so many years of taking care of all of you dentally, and catching up twice a year on all the goings on of the family.  I feel more like a friend than a health care provider.   That's why I wanted to send this little note to say it was a priviledge to have known Louie, even if only for a short time.  I always enjoyed our visits, he always had something clever to share and most times made me laugh.

I really enjoyed this tribute to Lou, and I'm glad you shared it with me Linda.  He will truly be missed.

May you find peace on the other side of sorrow, and find comfort on the other side of loss.  But most of all,  may you find in this sad farewell, that love lives on in the memories of the heart.  He will not soon be forgotten.

I'm praying you feel the perfect peace of Jesus and that He'll daily meet your every need.

In Love and Friendship

God Bless you all,

Regina
